Writing Skills Training

Most of the people who attend Words Work courses have to write reports and proposals as part of their job and ask for help with:

  1. Clarity and persuasiveness
  2. Getting started and organising thoughts
  3. Structuring a long document
  4. Summarising, getting to the point and being concise
  5. Grammar and punctuation

In a one or two day course, Jane can help a great deal with the top four of these. She sends people away with practical tools, a strong sense of how to use them and some realistic ideas for continuing to develop their skills. She also encourages them to get in touch with her by email if they think of a question they wish they had asked.

You can learn to "spot common errors" but not gain confidence in your use of grammar. It's the difference between reading a phrase book and speaking a language.
